Baby Bump

It's time for some baby bump photos! We started taking profile pictures at week 15, when we finally started seeing some sort of bump. Before then, I looked pretty normal and it was hard to believe a little baby was growing in there. Now every day when I wake up I'm convinced my belly has grown and little by little I'm running out of clothes that I can wear without altering somehow to accommodate the belly. God bless the Belly Band, which allows me to wear my pants unbuttoned without going noticed (thanks Mom for getting me this for Christmas!).

It's On!!! 21 days of prayer and fasting

Dana and I are beginning the first day out of 21 of our annual fast through our church. We are excited to see what God is going to do this year. We are doing the Daniel fast, which is a fruits and vegetable diet. I guess if you are a vegan, you are doing this all year long. The first two to three days are usually the toughest for me.

This year, there are going to be over 300 churches participating with our church. You can see the details on the church blog. We bought our supplies from the produce section of the flea market yesterday and just had to take a picture of our fridge after we stocked it.

MTV Crib's, eat your heart out!
We can't wait to tell you how it goes over the next three weeks.

Bryan Graduates!

These updates are a little out of date, but on Dec. 12, 2008 Bryan graduated from University of North Florida with his MBA. Here are some photos from the graduation ceremony.

Christmas Photos

I'm back! It's been about 4 months since I've contributed to the blog ... sorry. No excuses. It looks like the last time Bryan updated this was around Thanksgiving, so here is a Christmas update.

We spent Christmas at my parent's house in Weston, FL (near Ft. Lauderdale). Robyn and Dan flew in from Denver and my grandparents visited on Christmas day. We spent our free time either at Ft. Lauderdale beach, South Beach or the community pool.

Here are some favorite pics from the trip:

Bryan and I got Dan the orange shirt that he is wearing. He opened it up and immediately put it on. About 30 minutes later he opened a gift from my parents ... same exact Banana Republic shirt. Good thing he likes it so much - he has a spare.

This is Grandma and Grandpa Mohr (my Dad's parents).

Bryan and Oscar - so cute.

My parents got Dan a straw that winds around his head in the shape of glasses. He drained his entire goblet of wine in about 30 seconds. Classic.

My gifts.

Bryan's gifts.

Mom and Dad.

Somehow I did not get any pictures of Robyn ... sorry Robyn. Maybe next time.

After Thanksgiving Blues

The Foltice's had a great Thanksgiving. Dana's parents came up from Ft. Lauderdale on Wednesday night and will stay until Saturday morning. It was about 70 degrees yesterday, so we took an hour long walk in the morning with Oscar. That walk set the stage for some guilt free calorie consumption.

We watched the Lions game in the afternoon. After about 30 minutes of that, I had to hide all sharp objects so I wouldn't be tempted to do anything crazy. I can't believe how bad they are. I think of the Lions the way I think about the economy these days; it can't possibly get worse and I can only hope that things get better some day.

After a great day of eating, I had to wake up at 6am and make the lonely commute to work. If there is anything positive to take out of having to work today is that I was able to get some Christmas shopping done online.

I better get back to work. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
